Mathilde Elisabeth Ahlmann ?was a weaver and a Danish textile designer. She was born in Aarhus where her father was an architect. She had a frugal childhood. Her dream was to be a painter. She was trained a waiver at ?the Gerda Henning Museum weaving school in 1929. In 1934 she created her own weaving studio, started exhibiting her works and met the furniture architect Kaare Klint. Later in the 50's she worked with Mogens Koch and B?rge Mogensen.
