She studied at the Stockolm art school. From 1937 to 1940 she id the head of the Nordska Kompaniet textile design studio. In 1938 she worked with the architect Sven Markelius for the Swedish pavillon of the New York World's Fair of 1939. In the 50's she designed for KNOLL and for Donald Brothers. In 1948 she published "Textiles Illustrated."
